Rock-paper-scissors is a hand game generally played by two individuals, where players all the while structure one of three shapes with an outstretched hand. The “rock” beats scissors, the “scissors” beat paper and the “paper” beats rock; assuming the two players toss a similar shape, the game is tied. Different names for the game in the English-talking world incorporate roshambo, Paper-Scissors-Stone, yuck ack-ock and different orderings of the three things.
